A Four 4×5 inch tintypes

Robert offered the following thoughts on his image:
All Thomas Parsons wants to do is to relax and take it easy. He doesn’t want to make a change. Still young, there’s much he has yet to know. But others tell him that while he’d still be here tomorrow, his dreams might not. They try to explain, but he turns away again and again. For him, it’s always been the same old story: From the moment he could talk, he was ordered to listen.
There’s much Thomas has to go through, they say. He should find a girl and settle down, and even marry. It’s not his fault, really. He’s still young, they explain.
Thomas cries and keeps all the things he knows inside. But it’s getting harder and harder to ignore them. Finally he agrees. They were right. They know. And so he had to go. He knows he has to go.
